JD Johnson, Ea
Tax Specialist
J.D.'s proud family heritage with SP Tax & Accounting began when his father, Whitey, started the firm in 1978. J.D. joined his father in the family business in 1990 after attending UC-Denver to study tax and accounting, and has never looked back!

Favorite thing about being part of the team: How everyone pulls together to achieve common goals.

When he's not in the office, you'll likely find J.D. golfing, hiking, sailing, or scuba diving!
CAM JOHNSON
Tax PLANNING COORDINATOR
A native of Michigan, Cam moved to Colorado to attend CU-Boulder in 2020. With a degree in financial planning, Cam is passionate about helping J&B's clients implement tax strategies from the tax advisory team, and loves helping J&B's clients save tax money and accomplish their goals.

When he is not in the office, Cam can often be found spending time with friends or skiing.
ADAM GROVES
Tax Specialist
An Ohio native, Adam has a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and a minor in Communications from the University of Cincinnati. Adam has been part of the tax advisory team at J&B tax since 2023, and loves the always-changing nature of helping clients solve big problems.

Adam has worked in the Accounting industry for more than five years, and can usually be found playing ice hockey, riding his motorcycle, or spending time with his girlfriend and dogs in his spare time.
VICKIe MCfadden
Tax Specialist
Vickie has been part of the team for the past 2 years, and arguably has both the most rewarding and the most difficult set of responsibilities on the team.

During our peak tax season, Vickie's amazing personality is on full display as she essentially is "air traffic control" for J&B's client while seamlessly fielding phone calls and coordinating schedules for the tax advisory team.
